Spring Happenings

I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything on blog, but when you are living in an environment that has no internet at the whim of every need, its not easy. So to catch up, Jared and I are still living with the parents. It will be 2 months in mid-April. We were turned down from the Dr. Pepper job, so as of now we have absolutely no leads as to where to look. Jared has applied to over 100 jobs and not one company has contacted back with him. We are getting frustrated. Living on our own for about a year and a half makes it hard moving back in with parents, we are definitely wanting to get out on our own again, but it is hard when we have no steady income.
As for me, I am now 14 1/2 weeks pregnant. Just barely starting to show, and even then some people can't tell. About a week before entering my Second Trimester, I got food poisoning, which was definitely not fun. Since then, I have been getting nauseated pretty easily, whether I'm in a car, walking, or even just watching TV. I have no idea whats going on, its just weird, especially since I had a great First Trimester, isn't the Second Trimester suppose to be the easiest trimester? Anyways, Jared has started the belly pictures, I will have to put them up so y'all can see them. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Spring!

Texas thus far...

So, obviously we made it to Texas. It was a long 2 day drive; 14 hours one day and 16 hours the second day. It was a long, slow trip. Because we were pulling a trailer, plus the truck being completely packed as well, we could only average about 55-60 mph the entire way. Jared had an interview with Dr. Pepper the Wednesday we got to Texas. It went very well, they even called him back for the 3rd and final interview for today. He also thinks it went really well, but only time will tell and a phone call. We are very hopeful for this job and it would be great for our growing family, plus we have tons of people praying for us, hopefully this is where God wants us to be and he will grant our prayers. It is nice being back in Texas and much warmer weather.
As far as pregnancy is going, I am about 10 weeks now. I don't think I am showing all that much. I just look fat due to the fact that mom has changed my diet completely, I was drinking skim milk, and mom has put me on whole milk (so pretty much she is putting me on food with high fat), and I have to eat A TON just to get my constant companion of queeziness stay away. Other than that, I have been doing ok, no morning sickness yet, and hopefully not ever. More to come soon.

BABY!!!

So, on top of moving to Texas this weekend. We are officially having a baby this year! We had our first ultra-sound today and we were able to see our little monster. I think they got a way good pic of the monster. Don't worry, the dark spot in the head is it's brain, not a hole in the head. At least that is what they told me. It still hasn't hit yet, that I am going to be a parent this year. I've got some major adjusting to do. Jared, is of course, super excited, I'm tending to be the more nervous/freaking out one. I know it is way too early, but I'm hoping for a boy. But a girl will be just as loved. We are super excited.

We are MOVING!!!

So it is official. We are hoping to be moving to Texas by the end of this week hopefully. Jared just had a phone interview with Dr. Pepper/Snapple Co. in Plano, Texas and it sounded like it could go through, so we aren't going to be taking any chances on missing this opportunity. Super Excited!

Starting Out February

February already. Time is really going fairly fast, even though everyday seems to drag by. I'm starting out this new month with goals I would like to achieve. Instead of staying home all day, I am getting up and going to the gym for roughly about an hour 4-5 times a week. I wanna get healthy and stay healthy. I'm tired of having to start over after doing a good run of working out for several weeks. The BYU Idaho gym has been redone and is larger than ever. The facilities are top notch, with over $1 million of new equipment. Yeah, talk about over load. However they are becoming Nazi's if you ask me. You have to walk through one of those turning things like at Six Flags or a Subway, by providing your I-number. So anyone who is graduated or whatever cannot use the gym. Luckily I have a sister who is still a student.
Something else I would like to start is my new baby blanket cross stitch project. I have a baby girl blanket pretty much done, so I need to get working on a baby boy so I can have one of each. The one I would like to start working on is this one.
I think it is pretty much perfect for a little boy. Its my favorite. I would like to do another girl one, more girly perhaps, and give the other one to someone who wants it. But yeah, I enjoy doing these cross stitch blankets. They keep me entertained for a while.
